End of Summer Picnic 2011

The NYSHBCA End of Summer Picnic was held on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at
USCG Station Shinnecock, Hampton Bays, NY. The weather was a bit on the wet side
which forced us to hold it indoors. We had an excellent turnout of members and their
guest.  A great time was had by all the members and their guest, who met and chatted
with other members, sharing on the job stories and adventures. The food was
outstanding which was catered by Scotto’s Italian Pork Store in Hampton Bays. The fun
didn't stop as there were plenty of prizes that were raffled off which consisted of a HD
Flip Video Camera and NY sports team blankets just to name a few. There was also
the 50/50 raffle which went to the one lucky ticket holder and the proceeds of that will go
to our Association Attorney, Stu Blumberg who had fallen ill. Thanks goes out to the
NYSHBCA Officers and Directors for their hard work in planning and organizing the
picnic. Thanks also go out to the crew of USCG Station Shinnecock for hosting our
event and their assistance.
